Injection Moulding Barrel heads are mostly used in the manufacturing process of plastic injection molding. The shut-off nozzle injection heads serve as the connection between the plasticizing barrel and the mold itself.
The main purpose behind using shut-off nozzle injection heads is to avoid drooling of the melt and stringing. Plus, they are also used to feed with a retracted nozzle. Shut-off nozzles are mounted on the machine side of the plastic molding injection process instead of being mounted on the mold side of the plastic injection process.
